The starting point
People are made in the image of God. AI is not.
Artificial intelligence can generate language, images, analysis, and recommendations. It does not possess human dignity, a soul, moral agency, spiritual authority, or relational calling. AI Scholars begins with the biblical identity of the human person and helps communities keep technology in its proper place: a tool used under human judgment and responsibility.

Why we started
The questions facing Christian schools began in our own home.
AI Scholars began as Jim and Krista Acuff considered what artificial intelligence would mean for their three young sons.
Jim brought three decades of experience in technology, including leadership roles at AT&T and AWS. Krista brought the perspective of a career educator who understood how emerging technologies affect classrooms, teachers, and student learning.
As Christian parents, they recognized that the challenge was larger than learning how to use new tools. Families, schools, and churches needed a shared biblical standard for evaluating AI: one that protects children, preserves human dignity, strengthens learning, and prepares students for the future.
That realization became AI Scholars.
